Art Within is serving up a second helping of southern hospitality as it invites 20+ faith-based writers and producers to Atlanta for its 2nd Annual Symposium and Showcase.  Participants will be coming from all over, including New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Dallas, New Hampshire and even a producer from Spain.  The event, sponsored in part by a grant from Turner Broadcasting, includes showcase readings of works in progress by emerging playwrights and screenwriters (open to the public).  In addition, invitees participate in daily think tank sessions designed to foster community and kindle new ways of uniquely blending faith with the art of scriptwriting.  

 The Showcase will be open to the public at the 14^th Street Playhouse in Atlanta, on October 10^th, 11^th, 12^th, 14^th, 15^th & 16^th (6:00pm and 8:30pm).  The Symposium begins with a “Welcome South” dinner on the 13^th and continues through October 17^th.    CLICK HERE for information about the specific scripts being showcased..
